I actually agree with you on something Filmdude :) My guess is that it evolved into a jam or an interlude on BTCS... or even multiple jams if Dave had a near-complete song. 
I think if it was on Some Devil somewhere, it would have either been leaked (intentionally or not) or alluded to by Dave in ...

You know, guys, you've effectivly talked me out of this guitar, but I'm REALLY glad you did. MWR, I understood what you meant, but honestly, I didn't realize cedar wasn't well-suited for strumming.  It's not that much of a difference. There are a lot of myths and overreacting in any hobby. If you manage to break the cedar wood by strumming, then I want your autograph. However IMHO spruce often feels nicer when smooching the guitar (I do that, don't ask.).
