im not callin us rednecks, but its true, allot of people carry knifes in the south, not for safety just cause its usefull.

Some stupid person I knew started a fight over stupid shit and the other person carried a knife like you are describing. The other person with the knife absolutely 'lost it' and killed this stupid person I knew. They were both your age. Now one is dead and the other is being tried as an adult because he was carrying a concealed weapon. Nobody wins that one. The kid doesn't even remember doing it because he 'lost it'. The moral of the story is, if you carry weapons around long enough, you will sooner or later find a reason to use them. Guns and knives don't discriminate either. I doubt your story about how this lone guy harassed you and you had no other choice but to stab him would hold up very well in court. You would only come off as homophobic teenagers who ganged up on a gay person, because that happens a lot more than the story you have described.

Also, your friends are dicks for not stepping in and maybe whooping (not killing) this pervert guys ass. I'd get some new friends.
