I bought a Washburn Festival Serie, with 5 years of age, trough ebay


I know it was risquy, but I went to the Music store before bidding on it, tryed it out and I was amazed by the sound, but the price was to expensive to buy it new.

So I got lucky so far and I don't think I'm gonna buy an other ...

D'addarios arent to good


they are the best for the first 2 days, after that they don't sound good at all for 2 weeks, then they sound good for a week and then they suck again


Its good for DM, cause the strings are changed prior to everyshow, but for us, I Don't think we can buy new strings every ...

I've only seen Storytellers of Dave Matthews with Tim, anyways, I'm wondering what kind of peddal effect is tim using during that show?

technicly its not slaping

because the real Slaping is Bass Slaping, and it is not possible at all to do it with a guitar cause of the strings are smaller


but I still know what you mean, usualy it is easier to get that sound when you do a Harmonics and hit with your full thumb .

I know Steffan used Veillette Basses for a while

they are expensive, but I guess they are worth the difference in sound, and originality

I play the 3 kinds of "regular" guitars : Acoustic, Electric and Classical


I love the 3 of them, Acoustic lets me go everywhere and play, most of the time go outside on my lawn and play, same for the classical



the Electric is mostly to jam with friends, it's interesting to explore all the ...
