that's one of my favorites, that i've seen.
Actually, I lied, it was 6-19-00, my bad. I knew it was the first of the tour bout got confused what day it was. Anywho, that show was pretty sweet, and I was one of the first few thousand people to hear Grey Street, Sweet Up and Down, Diggin a Ditch, and the new and improved Bartender w/ full band.
and you got a bitchin warehouse. i was there the next night for the first raven, jtr, and grace is gone (i think). awesome show....from a great tour.

WHAT? I thought it was sweet? Crowd energy, Good sound, Boyd mostly in tune, Bad Openers which make the headliners seem better

What did you not like about it? It was my first DMB concert and I thought it couldn't be better.

I'm just not a big fan of the Palace. The band put on a good show but the acoustics are really shitty there. After just seeing them at Blossom a couple weeks before it kind of tainted my opinion. It's a shame Pine knob (DTE Music Theatre) isn't big enough. It would have been a better show there.

I've been to tons of shows (I'm old and went to college in Virginia from 91-95)...but the highlights for me are:

4/5/92 Van Rypers (went for Indecision...was sold by DMB)
11/9/92 Hollins College
2/12/93 Hampden Sydney
11/9/94 Virginia Horse Center
12/29/95 Patriot Center
2/14/95 Richmond Symphony Orchestra

Virginia Horse Center (opening up for Phish...first "big show")
NYE 94 and 95 at the Richmond Marriott
