Physical benfits of playing the guitar?

Unread post by YOYOYOYO » Tue Mar 22, 2005 6:26 pm

I have to go a gym project on playing the guitar. And since playing the guitar isn't really related to athletics, can you guys think of anything that I could say to help relate playing the guitar to being physical? Thanks in advance.

The acoustic guitar played at a medium to slow tempo slows down the heart rate, releaves stress, & stimulates brain activity.
This is a fact.
Heavy fast music does the opposite, increases heart rate, increases stress, and it increases addrenaline which in return actually makes you dumber.

also, performing like Dave does is a rediculously hard work out. I know I could play for that long and have that much energy the whole time.
improves hand-eye coordination, damn, there's a ot you could say.
