NO ONE can play cliffs of dover solo..

(okay, some people can)
i have thetab forthe whole song, andi can play themain parts, butthe solo is outrageous.
I have a friend who can, hes been playing for about 12 or 13 years though, he's sick, but he loves all of that stuff like Eric Johnson, Dream Theater, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen and all the G3 stuff

next time he stops by, ill try to get him to record it on here, when we record stuff its usually original jam stuff

not SRV man. not SRV. maybe in skills, but no one can express more emotions on a guitar than stevie. just listen to Tin Pan Alley.

its amazing how many good guitarists out there.

Greater than Hendrix and SRV COMBINED?

He may be good, but you're saying that he's going to be the best guitarist in history, which seems like hyperbole to me. Please post a recording of him, if he's as good as you say, I'd love to hear it.

oh if he records, i'd like to hear an original, cuz originality was big for SRV and JH.

i can play cliffs of dover. took me a while to get up to speed but it was worth it b.c its def a real nice crowd pleaser. i didn't think of the instrumental guitar songs orignally :D . now that you've reminded me, joe satriani and steve vai have some sick instrumental guitar songs that are just as good as cliffs of dover. probably the easiest one to start off on, the one i started off on by him anyway, is Always With Me, Always With You by satriani, another really good one by satriani is Starry Night. both songs sound amazing if someone plays the backround chords. a good steve vai one is Tender Surrender.
