Last year I sort of went a little crazy with the credit card, and wound up going to see six shows. I went to the staples center show you guys are talking about, and I was at both 5/18 and 5/19 at Shoreline. That 5/19 show was sweeeeet. Rhyme and Reason from that show was an unexpected highlight for me. But, the highlight of my summer was def three nights at the gorge. I drove up from California...beautiful drive. Row 16 friday, lawn saturday, and Row 14 for the final show. WOW. I will never sit outside of the first 20 or 30 rows again. It just wont be the same. The energy in these rows is unreal...it makes the rest of the seating and the lawn look like a snoozefest. People go completely apeshit up there. And it makes the show so much better. I went with a friend who wasnt really into the band, cause the guy I was going with bailed on me at the last minute, but it didnt matter. You guys wanna go somewhere where there are a bunch of people dripping dmb as much as you are? And most of them are pretty good looking and basically drunk and having the time of their life for four or five days? Gorge. And you HAVE to camp to get the experience. No hotel bullshit, no going to only one or two shows, go to all three, and camp. I met so many good people. No assholes. Best week of my life.

Edit: Oh yeah, the shows (both setlist and energy-wise) were insane. Halloween (amazing), four minutes of dreaming tree, and kicked up versions of everything else.

whenever the date was, march 26 or something of this year. Dave and Tim at ODU in Norfolk. Simply amazing. Second row, just left of center. Amazing. Gravedigger, The Maker, and an intro to satellite that made me like that song all over again = )
