how old are you?

i just dont consider myself a great guitarist because i want to keep getting better, and if i think im great, then ill just try to keep it up, not surpass. and also i know great guitarists, i have a 15 year old friend, he can do a lot of jmmy page, SRV, Lynard Skynard solos. those are just the guys he can do atleast 10 of theyre songs, btw. but he can do them perfectly, he can write amazing solos, and keep them up for 20 min... he is a great guitarist in my eyes.

I'm sixteen and i've been playin since like nov. 2003, never took lessons or anything. I tought myself with tabs. I can play almost every dave song i try to learn (having a little bit of trouble wit billies) im tryin to write my own stuff, but everytime i listen to an incredibly talented band i lose the will to try because i know it'll be a long tyme till i can write like them. Maybe i'll post some of my original stuff and let the peoples critique it... u write ur own stuff?

btw... how does one go about becoming a member of said "fender sucks club"?

and yeah, i have about 10 or so songs ive writen, and i guess like 1 of those a friend wrote but i play it with him, so 9 or so that ive writen...
