What you do is you record it slower, then speed it up. Obviously, they played the track much slower and Dave lip synced it, then sped it up to the real songs length afterwards. It creates that jaggy fast thing that you saw. You can do the opposite to create the slow motion feel while having the video still synced to the song.

I think Dave was saying that there wasn't really supposed to be a point, just supposed to be a fun video.

I didn't see all of it because the video wasn't loading very well. Internet has been shit lately. But it didn't seem to fit with the point of the song entirely well, and maybe it was an attempt to create some type of juxtaposition? Some type of visual conflict? I'm kinda stretching it, but it seemed to be trying to make the visual very edgy, almost bright, and stereotypical. Kinda like how the suburbs are in Edward Scissor Hands, but trying to use that to get the point across about how things are so backwards, the difference between the wealthy and the poor are too deep.
