that is what most bands do, but DMB doesn't follow a lot of characteristics that "most bands" do.

I think if it came out mid tour, that would probably let everyone know whether they'd honestly buy it or not. Since I'm sure they'd be playing the other songs that would appear on the album, so we'd know if it was honestly worth it or not.

Wasn't that kind of a different story though, cause everyone knew what the busted stuff songs sounded like, didn't they?
and the summer tour started in july according to the almanac, so BS dropped a couple weeks into it.

I suppose. That'll really influence people's decisions to attend shows though.
