Spaceman, obviously becuase of the parade, but also there is an alien on the balcony on the right. I was wondering if all the songs are 'hidden' in the artwork
I am sure the Alien is for Tim.

Am I the only one who likes Why I Am? I like it A LOT and I don't see many others who have the same opinion.

It's a solid album. Not a solid DMB album. But a solid album.

A big disappointment for me with this album was dave's lyrics. I need to listen to it more to catch the little things but nothing jumped out at me like with Eh Hee or others(collection of cells line still gets me).
It seems to me that dave's lyrics were better showcased in busted stuff. Maybe it has to do with how his vocals were mixed in this album, but they feel set further back in the mix.
Particularly with Dive In, Seven, Spaceman, Funny the Way it is, probably because the lyrics were lacking in those songs.

LITHOG, Squirm, and Time Bomb are really the only songs on here that invoke that musical cleverness that used to be so inherent with many DMB songs. Everything else has a sort of blandness to it. My Baby Blue is growing on me though, it has sort of a Baby feel to it from Some Devil.

On the scale of DMB albums, 10 being BTCS and 1 being Stand Up, this is probably about a 6, right there with Everyday.

This is better than everyday. It feels like a dmb record, not a dave and Glen Ballard record. I'm really starting to love it.

I agree. And while it may not be as strong as their pre-ED stuff, I think it's a step in the right direction. Musically, anyway.
