I got the album downloading, listening to Cornbread right now, still a fricking amazing song no matter what you guys say. Seeing as how I have never heard it before, even a live version is a treat, nice banjo solo btw.

does anyone else's "write a song" skip?

YES, and I hate it. It only skips on my iPod though, not in iTunes. Does anyone have one that doesn't skip?

I have had that issue with other songs that I have, they sound fine on iTunes but skip on my iPod, I believe it is Red Barachetta by Rush off the Moving Pictures albums skips at one part of the song all the time on my iPod, dunno why it does. I have re-ripped the CD before and nothing changes, might be an error in the disc.

So the Fuse show just finished. Man, I was so excited for Squirm but it was not the monster I thought it was going to be live... It did not sound full, but I would blame about 40% of that on the mix. If they would of just turned Timmy up a bit to help drive it some that would of helped a lot, but it was still lacking.

It was also unfortunate that Dave had a cold, I could tell before he mentioned it that he was struggling (But thank god it was not a total train wreck like that Florida show. I still have night terrors of him singing Idea of You that night), I've got a bad cold tonight so I can sympathize. I was also not overly impress with Jeff tonight, I guess he's being sponsored by AFLAC this summer with all the squeaking and quacking he was doing. I've heard him do better, but as usual Timmy would come in after Jeff fucked around a bit and pull out something totally musical and great.

There was also an interesting sound going on towards the end of the show, Carter about lost it at the end of the song laughing and when they cut to the crowd you could tell everyone else heard it also. I think it was something to do with Timmy's guitar, when my Boss delay pedal runs out of batteries it makes a similar sound, it's hard to explain but there was a lot of clicking noises in fast succession.
