This was the first thing I noticed because I'm an engineer, but the mix is just boring to me. Very thin.

I hope it's just an issue of "sucking single" syndrome...

I'm not officially an engineer, but I noticed immediately that the mix blew as well.

Well, I don't really care all that much for WAYG and that was BS's single.

It's not a bad mix, it was just generic and not as full as what I generally associate with DMB.

I kinda like the beginning and the verses, but the chorus is straight cheese

The harmonies definitely hurt the chorus.

Eh, it's not bad as far as singles go and I think the mix is very radio friendly. Let's hope the actual disc has a bit more depth to it.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

Yeah the one encouraging thing about it at least is that there is a lot going on, so while this song may not be the greatest thing at least it sounds like they put some time into it as opposed to everything on SU.

Ya, I'm hoping so. That download was not the best quality mp3. The song is growing on me, the lyrics are decent for the most part too, I think I got a mother father vibe from it on the first listen so that kind of turned me off.
