Ya know, as much as I was enthusiastic about the release of Stand Up, and then remembering how I was fairly disappointed by it once it was released, I'm still excited to hear the next album, just because it's new, and just because no matter how lazy or shitty the band becomes, I've always loved them, and probably always will.

I'm not making the same mistake I made with Stand Up and start getting excited about 5 second clips of nearly inaudible music that we may or may not ever hear on an album or even live for that matter. I can barely hear what is going on in that video and to try and deconstruct what it sounds like or what other songs it sounds like doesn't seem right to me. We all made that mistake last time and I think we just need to wait this one out and listen to it when it comes out and not get all worked up into a frenzy over little snippets.
