You cant really compare the both. There both nasty things to watch, dave and tim are sick acoustic show and dmb is the sickest live performance either way there nasty and shouldnt be compared. Thats my thoughts at least

Get familiar with his style of chords he uses. Like two step, some of billies, the jam in lie in our graves, grey street etc. He uses those alot

thanks for the information, i have a couple scale books i just never got into readin them, i wish i took lessons when i was in high school but i wanted to just teach myself and save money, so far i have done good with it so im gonna try learnin how to solo now.

always know the lyrics and song good also when your singin i find it easier to play and sing when im not tryin to think of what im gonna say before hand as soon as you get the lyrics and song down together work on makin the notes sound better with your voice and singin louder
