Alright folks, first recording. Its pretty rough, and quality on vocals get shoddy when the voice gets intense. Other than that, its just 2 guitars, a bass and vocals.

correct me if im wrong but i thought all neck-thru basses were usually constructed without a truss rod... being that the entire string tension would be confined to the 3 or 5 or 7 or however many piece laminated neck, and with 5 or more pieces in a neck i wouldnt worry about warping.

Ok, so I have been playing with a few of my guitarist friends for a while and we have lots of fun jamming, but we seriously lack a drummer. Being a bassist helps but I would like to have some accompaniment in the form of percussion. But, we dont know any drummers.

38" seems pretty beastly... in my personal opinion if i were to get an extended scale id probably pick either 35 or 36 inches, but never played one anyway so i cant tell the difference. get a double neck with both scales haha... except that would be the most useless thing ever i think

ive been looking at the modulus flea 5 on http://www.musiciansfriend.com and its only 2150... that seems amazing to me. If its still such a low price when i have the money i think i will get that. dpcustom isnt taking orders barker basses seem cool but way out of price range heheh

thanks for all the tips so far everybody, i was really heavily considering the flea 5 but now with all these seemingly fair priced custom models I will have to really look around for a while. The only problem with customs is the wait is so long and im a very impatient person.
