most of those jams are rather old jams, but great to fool around with. Let me know if you have any comments or questions.

there is a lot of room to go nuts with Victor Wooten style fills, but I think what makes this song so great is the bass line being so tight. But do what you like.

Tricky chorus indeed. What you have there works very well, tho. Plus w/ all those intros and outros...who know how many variations of this song there are?

hey my friends, recently Q:

i'm pretty sure its not on the above tab, but does anyone know what stefan plays in the little space bewteen the main verse riff and the chorus? i imagine its just a random fill but i'd like to have some idea of what it is if anyone knows it. you can really hear what i'm talking about on the Warehouse 5 volume 3 version of recently at the 3:15 mark, right before "people stare.."

The reason I think the chorus riff is played at the end of the neck instead of the middle is because it makes the transition between the B chord to the A cleaner. Listen to the 4th fret G-string note go into the open A string note. If you play this up the neck, you'll have to slide the upper notes of the B chord down to be able to fret an A. If you play it at the end, you can just hit the open A. Also, Stefan plays the chorus of BOWA at the end of the neck. He doesn't do much at the end of the neck with open strings any more, but BOWA serves as precedent that it happened at one time.
