warehouse is hard to "get", but once you do its easy and fun. tripping billies was weird, just getting used to the fingering was difficult. let you down has a WICKED rhythm, i haven't applied myself to it enough to get it down. stone is easy, i had most difficulty with the strumming on that one ...

yaeh neon is TECHNICALLY fingerpicking, but you move your hand as wildly as if it was strumming. "kinetic energy" he calls it.

i picked it up. steve howe is on cover. the mayer article doesn't help too much, but the nick drake is sweet (if it wasnt for the weird tuning)

how can you play it only using thumb and index?

the only other possibility is a downstroke ...

decided to learn this tonight, by far hardest song every attempted, much harder than classical gas or any of dave's stuff.

so its possible to accurately pick the non bass strings with the index fingers?? need vids!

i just keep it loose. dont focus on either muting or individually picking.
keep fingers down so that even if you hit other strings, they are muted.

yeah i thought what i posted was correct, just he rapidly mutes it.

or as fatjack said "shuffle rhythm"
