I'll work on it. I have some of it in my head from a while ago, but I'll try to get a complete one up. Oh yeah, and that tab is from the 3.29.03 show. Thanks Pat -- you and Jared really deserve some kinda award for your contributions to the DMB guitar community. If ever I'm in your area I'd be glad...

2.14.97 Two Step Jam

Undoubtedly my favourite Dave and Tim moment ever. Have y'all heard it? I recently downloaded that Dave and Tim Crash Live compilation (which is now my most prized possession -- in your face Italian coffee machine)...you can get it here... http://www.amidreaming.org/dreamers/showthread.php?s=cb24d5b...

Best one ever -- trust me...

WWYS --> What Will Become of Me (think of the WWYS jam chords) --> Water/Wine Outro --> Last Stop Reprise (standard tuning).

I know it sounds ridiculous but it works so well.

Another is the less spectacular WWYS --> PNP --> Rapunzel.

Sure it's not a Yamaha? I think he played something similar in a 1992 video I have...

EDIT: Definitely a Gibson -- just checked the headstock again. Sorry.

Straps to the headstock are gay on SST's. I think I'll just put it in the middle of the neck joint. That guitar has taken more beatings that it's deserved -- I'm sure it will handle one more for the team.

Thanks very much!

If you've played it enough to know you love it and you have the cash go for it. Word of warning though -- don't buy it BECAUSE it's a Taylor, you know? If you love it and it happens to be a Taylor then damn right buy it and play it forever! Have you investigated Martins, or Takamines? They might be ...

Acoustics

I couldn't really think of a subject title -- but could someone explain some stuff to me! I've been playing for about 3 years now -- I've got to the point where I've mastered the rythym part to most songs (predominately Dave stuff) and have started to figure out some sweet little solos to riff on. (...

New song, Thing...

Hi everyone -- if you haven't heard this new tune you should definitely download it. Curiously, Dave plays it with a capo on the 3rd fret -- as the short video clip of it will bear out. I, for one, am extremely excited about this. We've all been saying for ages that Dave's guitar work is running sho...

Ryan Adams "Rescue Blues" tab

Do yourselves and learn this! I tabbed it from the Music In High Places DVD (which you should own) -- very cool to jam on two guitars. Enjoy! the effects that dude can get are awesome! it's exactly what i'm looking for, in fact. i love the acoustic guitar, i think its subtleties make it a far superior instrument to the electric, but sometimes i really wish i could hook up a nice little blusey electric solo in a bridge or something... so.....
