everythings fine except the verse.. cant play the verse... cant make the 2nd to 6th fret stretch... i doubt there is something that doesnt have as big of a stretch in that area, but is there anything that sounds the same/really close to it? i can make it if i spend 10 seconds positioning my hand there :D

learn to play the nature intro, thats all the verse is just broken down.... when u play the nature intro enough that stretch will come as easy as any chord.... its just alot of practice and the more familiar the chord becomes, the easier is it to play it

yeah, but shane plays it without a stretch but I don't think his tab was correct in the way he plays it, is all.

its not perfect, but its close... i cant make the stretch so i had to find some alternative

Shane, you must have tabbed that wrong, since the tab you put sounds awful. The first chord would sound a lot better as an A (instead of the A7 you have) and the last chord you have is a C and a C# - the real chord is a Bm which contains a B and a D. Did you by any chance tab that chord upside down?

I would say just learn the stretch. It may be a royal pain in the ass (and hand) for now, but in the long run you'll just be glad you learned it the right way. Initially I tried several different ways to play TB using fuller chords, etc. but it just didn't truly sound like TB until I got it down the right way.

my buddy taught me how to play the verse just using A D and G chords and it sounds pretty good. It goes: A .... D.... G...A...D then 2xx2...3xx4
If you can get that it will sound pretty good.

Another way of playing the verse with the chords is A D C G A D 2xx2 3xx4. Try that as well.
