So everyone always tells me that dave hates LA, which is probably true. And seriously, i'm not trying to be one of those bastards that tries to stand up for my city, cause trust me, i probably hate this place more than any of you guys. lol. my question is......
if dave hates LA so much, how come he's doing two shows here? last year too. and the years before he does maybe one in LA and like on ein Irvine. i mean if he hates it so much, how come he plays more than he has to. and he's always here.
is it because there are so many people that he feels obligated or what?
again, i'm not defending LA at all. just a curious question cause i notice that he doesn't go to some places, or plays like one show there when he plays 2 in the place he hates....

they say he hates LA because of the crowd. i've never had a problem with the crowd. the two shows i've been to have been quite nice from the crowd. but everyone is always tellnig me that he hates LA.

well dude....to an extent it could be quite true. i mean he's not bad at the shows, he's actually great. but i don't a thirty minute 41 every came or would come out of LA. ya know? they just never go all out in LA for some reason. reason that everyone says: he hates LA. lol.

I really dont think Dave has much input as to where they play. That is more of a managment position and the most effecient rout for the band (less travel the better) and if the venue has certain openings. I think they may say lets not play in Houston (Woodlands) Texas in the middle of July because its 110 in the shade with 100% humidity. But I really dont think they say things like I dont like this city, thats not very business like???? Just my opinion.
