dave uses a capo?

this is no big deal just something i was curious about.
i have a video or dave playing gravedigger at the gorge during a little side concert or something and i noticed that he has has a capo clipped onto his headstock. what songs does he use a capo for?

i dont know if this is correct or not, but i remember hearing that the guitar used on the sidestage was not daves but another performers, and that could explain why there was a capo on it.

Cause he opened for DMB and was there with him when he played

Because it was before Dave was going to play , and Mraz was on this little sidestage playing some songs , and Dave walked by to listen , so Mraz asked him if he wanted to play a few songs and Dave said Sure
