Any board where the word "troll" is used daily is lame. They used to be cool until the moderating binge that started a couple years ago. Actually, what killed that board was winning best fan website on VH1. I guess I understand the need to moderate a board that big, but I just think its stupid when you have THAT many people all wanting to review or comment on one album, they make everyone post in the same thread. Its impossible to have a discussion with 50 (or even 100) other people posting their thoughts about an album all in one thread within a 20 minute period. I also hate how they have 30 forums over there. Its just too much. All other boards have like four or five.

Nancies in '98 was great.

I started off at Nancies and never looked at any others besides this one. It has gone downhill. Every thread that gets started turns into a bitch fest. The posters have no patience for newbies. I understand you don't want 50 threads about the same thing, but they just jump down your throat. In real life, people talk about the same subjects and no one tells them to go do a search of past conversations they've had. It seems like all the people that have been there a long time are just there to flame people and make them feel bad about their posts. This message board is way friendlier and a better place to hang out.
