problem on my guitar

Post by incubusdmb5 »

mainly on the e and a little bit on the b string.. the strings sound dead making very little noise and when changing frets the sound doesnt get higher or lower. this happens on the e from about 6- 12 and on the b only a couple of places.

any idea how to fix this?

i've tried new strings and still doesnt work

you need to take it to a tech and get it set up.. the neck is probably out of wack..

Wow, if it's new and it's doing that, I would definitely have that checked out by a professional, that's not cool. Hope you get it fixed :-)

Sounds like the fret heighth is uneven for some reason or another. Get it checked out by a tech (like everyone else has said).
