every once in a while i like doin covers, so (with my trusty capo) i tried out IBYU - all comments positive/negative welcome - thanks for the listen

a little fast i don tknow if you did that on purpose or not...might want to turn the vocals up a bit, it sounds liek you get further away from the mic at times, you might want to work on the chorus vocals....other than that i enjpyed listenin to it man, i have listened to the other convers those are good too, keep them comming...peace

yeah i was having "fun" balancing the guitar and vocal, thanks for the comment, i'll try some new stuff when i get some more time (maybe snow days haha)

pretty nice, guitar work was pretty cool 95% of the time. I don't know if it was intentional, but it seemed a little too stumbly only in a few parts.
The vocals weren't too shabby either. It seems like you were laid back with the vocals if that makes any sense. I think you should work on going all out, I bet it will sound nice. Like I said about my cover, I can't sing worth shit, but I think you sound too forced on some parts, kinda like you run out of breath. Other than that, I thought it was damn good

i don't know that going all out would be the best idea haha - i kinda try and do that for the chorus of crush and i sound like i'm dying - but thanks for the comment

no problemo, i mean i'm sure if you worked on it you could pull it off, it might take some time, but i think it'll be worth it. just like playin guitar, if you don't keep practising, you won't get any better at it.

I think you played it a little too fast in the begining. If I werent such a huge DMB fan I dont think I would be able to to hear the "Tripping Billies" then then "The what would you say"... Part of the awsome ness of WWYS is the fact that your able to haer all the notes...... (Im talking about the medly BTW)

You did an awsome job, and I can tell that you know how to play the music and have a really good grasp on Dave's style, but slowing down sometimes would really help.

As for the IBYU was good, i liked the speed.

I like it fast. Why would we want to sound just like Dave? We already have the original. It has a soft feel to it that brings out the emotion of the song. I really like it!

I liked the speed of it, sounded good. Guitar playing was good, vocals could use a little work. It seems like you are holding back, just let it out and i think it will sound better.
