If you play the notes in a scale but in differant orders , whats that called, whats up with thaT ?

i dunno if this is what ur looking for. but you can start a scale on a different note than its root and have it be lydian or dorian or something. that gets into guitar theory and modal stuff.

fine if you want to be stuck being a mediocre (at best) muscian, have it your way, but if you really want to know what music is, and what makes a chord or why some note sound better together, or intervals or modes, or any of that "bullshit" then you might want to retract your statement and read a little farther into theory then you have, that is if you have at all, but you don't seem to even have the mental capacity to understand theory. theory isn't used to restrict what you can do with music, it is supposed to be used to help understand it better. if you still think the way you do, then you are just being close-minded and ignorant

I'm not sure exactly what your asking. I think your talking about sequencing. You could also be talking about modes, which someone mentioned.
