is it just me or does it sound like Dave is just hitting the bass notes then the notes on the B string when he plays the Intro/Verse?

no, he's playing the other notes, however the high b is the one that stands out the clearest above the other two because its a higher pitch.

i don't know the slightest bit of musical theory. i tried reading that one theory thread, and my head hurt after about 6 posts. ok, i lied, i know some theory, but its very limited.
