Why did they destroy "captain"?

I was trying to learn this song the whole way through, and I did a search to try and find some stuff on it to help. I realized that the LWS version (that I have) is not the exact same as the BS or when it was called crazy. The one from BS blows so much. The LWS version is great. It is fantastic on LWS. I can't believe that DMB would condone such actions as to destroy a good song like that.

If anyone can tell me the part for "oh our love..." I would be thankful. I can't figure it out for the life of me.

BS captain sounds like porn music. Most of the album was butchered, if you ask me. I like the d&t versions from 97.

yeah that d+t tour has some amazing versions of the songs. BS isn't the best, but its not the worst either....LS was better, IMO.

i like the up tempo and the bass line better on BS....the LWS is ok, but my preference goes to the bs version.
