The Changing Dave Matthews

Post by PlayLikeDave »

Granted this has not too much to do with guitar, and probably has been spoken upon before but I gotta say it.

Dave really lost some weight. I was lookin at some pics from him around the tour after Everyday, and he looked a lil plump. The other nite on The Tonite Show, he was really thin. It was almost like Dave from 1994.

But Dave over the last 10 years... My how he has changed...er his waist size has...

You really think so? I thought on the CMT Crossraods thing he made a joke about doin 'em, then recinded it and said "well I don't"

interesting thought tho

i think its pretty obvious, that something with substances is going on, the man probably has no time for exercise with his schedule

and you can definitely see when he stopped doing them in the everyday era. you can definitely see the shift in musical quality and physical appearance between BTCS and Everday

You are saying that the substance helped him (cuz BTCS really is kick-ass, and everyday is not well liked)?

Honestly, as good as the music was and might be, I really don't approve of it. He is a father, and drugs + family do not mix. I don't know that being a musician who travels 3/4 of the year is a good thing for his kids. But as all of us, we don't know Dave or his family, so I am just blowin stink out my a$$ rite now

drugs does equal bad, but some people aren't capable of writing good music without them
