hey, i really liked it. its good to see some more jack johnson fans 'round here.

the vocals were great, and the guitar was spot on. the only thing i think you should have done is had a second guitar in the beginning doing some drum beats...that would be really cool. it just sounds kinda empty with just the opening riffs.

nice recording, i'm a big JJ fan as well, timing sounds on, esp when you get into the song.

quick question, what kind of equiptment did you record this with? sounds like you recording the acoustic in stereo, and possibly the voice on another track?

Thanks, I use a shure beta 58a for vocals and 57a for the guitar...dunno if it's stereo, just kinda kept the defaults on cool edit. Now that I think of it, i think it is stereo.
And yeah I recorded the vocals on a seperate track.

i dont know exactly how to explain this, but there's a really great presence in your recording. it just sounds so good. maybe its your guitar, or equipment, or maybe you did a really great job with reverb or something.

no comments. this song is perhaps the best closest to orriginal cover of ANY song i've heard here.

by far the best i've ever heard.

it's absolutely... i mean absolutley perfect.. i LOVe the orriginal... and i LOVE this version.

I have a recording of Jack and G. Love doing a radio show together and before they play g love's Stepping Stone, Jack admits to stealing ideas from it to write Rodeo Clown before they ever met.
