Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

either SWR or Ultrasounds. i'm buying an Ultrasound eventually because ES's are supposed to sound like pure bliss through them.

i'm guessing you mean <600$ not -600$. cuz i'm not sure you'd want an amp worth negative 600$. then again the 600 bucks they'd give you to take the amp away is a pretty sweet deal.

Don't try checking out the SWR. Do try checking out the Ultrasound. The Ultrasound is cheaper and sounds far better than the SWR's. I know because I've played both extensively (the SWR was a friends Cali Blonde that we used to play around, I own an AG100DS2). The Ultrasound is better in just about every way, everything from the sound to the weight of the amp, and they are far cheaper.

DO NOT do the Washburn thing. I have one and it is none but a major pain in the rear.
