Hey shane, you think I should still get the guitar you set me up with, I mean I wont find a Rosewood with the ES for $1200 in the 2004 catalog but is there gonna be anything that changes significantly in the 300 and 400 series that would make them a better guitar than the one Im getting. The only difference seems like they'll be revoiced which would be nice but theyll still be nonrosewood.

i dunno.... only way i would know would be if i were actually in your place... african mahogany sounds intriguing, but i do love rosewood...

Eh, I cant imagine Ill be disappointed in this guitar, the only thing I wish was differenet with it is I wish it was revoiced. But like I said, if I really dont like it Im sure I could sell it for the same price if not more, I think I got a deal for a Limited Taylor 410RCE with es, $1200 is pretty low, so we'll see in a few weeks.

it figures...as soon as i buy an 814, they go and make the inlays better. the inlays are the only thing i DONT like about the current 800 series...
