jazz chords..

from the ants marching jam dave does sometimes. i read that D9 is X54555 and G9 is X(10)9(10)(10)(10) is that right?

well i have two questions. how exactly do you do that chord? so far i have been cheating and i just barre the whole thing with my middle finger like this 055555 but i can't fingure out how do it like its supposed to be done.

also, are these movable chords like barre chords?

yes they are movable

try it like this:

middle finger on the 5th string, index on the 4th, and the rign finger barring the rest

also known as 9th chords, and yes, Josh is right..

I like the sound of these chords. Where can they be thrown in at? I'm not too good on theory.

where ever they sound good, you dont have to rely on theory
