I've been wanting to write a song in D for a while now, and I think this one came out pretty well. It's pretty different than the rest of my stuff, which is one of the reasons why I named it "A Different Path".
it's a very sweet nice little diddy. A little over simple for my tastes, but then again im a fan of incredibly insane, full guitar work...
watch your muddiness and transition at :35 - :37 -- the guitar switched kinda awkwardly.. but the soloing is rather sweet and nice. i like the chord progression there through 1:01 ... and the muted stuff that happens directly after (and at the beginning). Everything seems to go hand in hand nicely though the transition and the orchestration of adding new elements gets a lil confusing... where you take the song at 1:30 or so is really nice i'd like to hear more of that in the song... more build up... it kinda just appears... maybe if you built it up and sped it up and put a little more passion into it it'd be an even stronger transition... 2:05 the soloing gets lost but it gets real nice at 2:14 - 2:19
overall very nice... little elevatorish but hey... it's cool =)
Hey i like this tune , it could really turn out to something very good Listen to what Xoosh says , he always has " So much to say " about a song and have some nice critical points
im with xoosh, i liek the fullness you get when you throw together a loop jam...cant wait to get my stuff on the internet...xoosh you and i are gonna get along pretty well hah just thought ide let you know, i am anxious as hell to get this stuff up btu just cant get angelfire and god knows what else to work....as for the criticism goes.....not bad at all man like i said i like fullness but i liked your song alot and your right you have taken a step away from what you have done in the past, keep goin with it man i liked that one alot, peace
