cool edit editing question on volume

if you have one track recorded, is there a way to select a specific section of that, and change the volume?
i've tried to change the volume on a chorus part of a song, and i can only change it for the entire track.
any help?

Yes you can highlight the part you want the volume raised on , then change its volume from the Effects menu

oh i got it now thanks a lot, i just didn't know that you had to change the window to do that, so i was trying to do it from the home window.

A better way to do it is using the "volume envelope". See the cool edit help file for how to do that.
