Cakewalk Music Creator...

I just picked up cakewalk and i can't install it...i did a search and someone had the same problem i'm having but they didn't put how they figured it out...anyways I click install and it says i need directx...i install directx and restart my computer...then i click install cakewalk and it says i still need directx...what do i do? any help would be appreciated...

lol, i used cool edit pro instead

no i can't really remember, i downloaded the direct x and suddenly it worked. but i had to ask customer support. they have great support so just e-mail them.
