Peeling fingers...

so here's a long standing problem i've been having. my fingers peel. i dunno why. when i've been playing for a long time, little flakes of skin get stuck on and underneath the strings. it's kinda gross. any help with this problem would be appreciated

the badge of honor for any guitarist. while that is kind of gross to read, i doubt that anybody else would notice it.

Apparently SRV used to put crazy glue on his finger tips..

although i reckon that had much to do with the fact that he would play until his fingers bled....

he also played with the guitar's equivalent of bass strings.

i bite em too, horrid habbit, when i take showers i can see all these like....craters in my fingers, it sickens me.

man, i think everybody does that...i hate it too, ill be in class and rip a whole callous off and then i cant play when i get home....

I don't think any of us are normal...we're sittin here talkin about biting callouses off our fingers lol..
