Can someone explain the difference between these 2 pickups?

Aside from the on board pre amp, how is the Prefix Plus different from the Matrix pickup? On the Taylor site it says that in adition to the under the saddle pickup, the Prefix also has a mic inside the body. So is the Prefix the same as the Matrix but with a second mic and a pre amp? Are you able to change back and forth between the mic and the pickup? Im alittle confused. Someone help.

i know nothing about these specific pickups... but since you said onne has a bridge pickup and a seperate mic, i know that that one uses both of them at the same time just for better sound quality/clarity, blah blah blah

u dont swithc between them

the pickup with both is better and more expensive
