The Stone...

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

The Stone...

Post by montiac »

ok, so i've heard a ton of people talk about The Stone, and I'd never heard it so I got very curious. I downloaded the song and was blown away...that song is absolutely amazing. I think it's my new favorite Dave song. :D

download the video of Dave playing The Stone solo on the Charlie Rose show. You'll be blown away again. or download the mp3 of it. It's probably my favorite Dave song. or at least one of them

I agree. I was afraid almost to play the stone for so long, thinking it was beyond my skills. Well, it is beyond my skills but man I love that tune. It definetly is my favorite dave song hands down. i'd like to hear some peoples versions if they've got any on mp3. That song is money

yeah, there's still a ton of dave matthews songs that i still haven't heard. When I got The Stone, i also got Stay(Wasting Time) and that's a very cool tune as well. I'm getting The Stone down pretty good, i can play it all the way through...i just need to work on singing+playing. that'll be the bitch :x
