just to let you know, #40 has never had set lyrics. It's always been improvised with the meanings changing. From talk about a realtionship, then longing for a broken one, and now a look back on it in peace.

No dave song really has set lyrics.. he manages to mess them up or change them little by little every time he plays it..

#40 is such a great song...even though it's so short and it's kind of rare to hear, it is definintely worth the wait when you finally do hear it.

totally. i love both the full versions i have, the one at Yoshi's and the one during 05-05-95. both different yet riveting.
