It's all good, there was alight sarcasm along with this post. I just hate boyd's hair and clothes, I know it's a bad reason to hate someone, but fuck 'em.
And I just bought everyday finally and haven't listened to it yet, just bought it to have it.

yea maybe, but id give my left.....pinky nail have a body like boyd. the man is built. and if i were built like that, id wear those crappy clothes too.

i actually liked space between a lot, especially when he plays it acousticaly. when the world ends can be a pretty solid song. everyday makes me happy...used to use the song as an alarm. put me in a good mood. yeah, it's corny, but a lot of his songs are. the other things on there are mediocre compared to dmb's other stuff, but if it was another band it could be a really solid album. the only problem we have with it is all our preconcieved notions of DMB's "sounds" and now this uproar about Dave's solo album not really being "solo," which is a result of our preconcieved notions over what a "solo album" entails. just because Dave plays acoustic guitar doesn't necessarily mean an all acoustic album.

as for boyd? i think he's a lot of fun. i wouldn't make fun of him to his face. he's ripped.

I have to say, I love playing I Did It On acoustic. Also, without Boyd, dmb wouldn't be great. They are all great. Also, Boyd's album, this is what I think about it. The first song is good, and so is another song on the album. Also, notice, there are 2 producers on the album. And there is one that does those two, and the other that does the rest. I made a conclusion, it was the producers! Boyd had some good stuff there, and the producers didn't do their job! I hope he does another with a GOOD producer.

Everyday = good
Boyd = GREAT

I'll admit I used to hate ED, but now I've come to love it. I love cranking up the title tune an screaming HONEY HONEY COME AND DANCE WITH ME in counterpoint to the main lyrics. I love Fool to think. Seperately FTTand GIG are flawed and vulnerable but segued together they are the masters of their setlist destinies.
I also love WTWE.

I just listened to Boyd's solo on Sweet Up and Down and shed some tears. I loved it. It is suble, but pretty. Boyd rules. After seeing hm play at the gorge all my doubts about him were swept away.
