Will someone try my version of #41 (different fingerings...)

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I don't know if anyone else does this...
It's after the intro, just for the verse(s)

E-------3---------5-------10--------0---
B-------3---------3-------8---------3----
G-------5---------2-------7---------0---
D-------5---------4-------9---------4---
A--0----------2---2---7---7-----5--5---
E------------------------------------------

You can do the hammer ons the 4th fret of the last thing the same as usual. I am sure someone else out there plays it this way!

Add appropriate strumming patterns, they aren't just played once, except the bass note if preferred...

It sounds ok, but you can't drag the pick across any muted strings this way. I think this is especially crucial when playing it by yourself, because you need the percussive drags to keep the rhythym since you don't have the rest of the band to do it for you.

Oh shit! I never saw that. my friend showed me this way...I guess that's where he got it. I love Howie's version, but I never knew how he played it...That's just weird.
