Take my breath away?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I was just listening to my Dave concert at Hilton Coll. in Ames, Ia 2002 (i forgot the month day) but i got to the One Sweet World track and he plays an intro that sounds an awful lot like Take My Breath Away. Does anybody know am I right, has he done this before, or am I just retarded. I will do some research to see when the concert was for sure... (look for ticket lol) But has he played this intro before OSW before?

the last few notes on the intro of OSW are the same as the melody line to Take My Breath of Away. i've noticed it before, and its really no big deal, its a very common phrasing

Is it the intro that is shown on this site..? Cause I have no clue what "Take My Breath Away" is..

Yeah. They play it when Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis are doing it in the bedroom. Back in the day when 80s rock and roll was turn on. I have the tape of the Top Gun soundtrack. I really don't think the OSW intro sounds like Take my breath away at all.

its not the whole song, just the last few notes in the OSW intro are the same as the melody to take my breath away

yeah, the first time i heard the intro (5-24-02 show, CD) i kept hearing it, and it kinda turned me off to the intro, but i love it now...

BTW, DMB has played the intro since 1991.
