the marketing guy wasn't joking...they really are liking the fact that mayer plays martins...they said it might help them take on a younger face as they're kinda considered the old man's guitar...personally, I think it's dumb that he did a sig acoustic when he's more of an electric guy, but hey, if it gets more people into martin's, all I gotta say is RIGHT ON!!!
