DDTW Question (and I live with my justice c)

Ok for the life of me this does not seem to go with the worda at all. I have watched several videos and fiddled around with it, but I can't get it to sound right. It looks like I am playing it the same as Dave does in Storytellers, but its not the same. Any advice?

you just kind of have to hear it.... did you try just watching daves hands on the video you mentioned?

Yeah, and when I play it that way it doesn't sound right. Maybe I am just used to hearing the band and Tim I can't really hear Dave. Did he ever play this song solo?

EDIT: nm I checked, never solo, I guess I just gotta figure it out

Actually he played it solo on the KFOG video I have and you can see his hands perfectly. You can download it off kazaa.

I could be wrong, but i think he plays it with a different rhythm for acoustic performances versus full band performances. I think he holds it a little longer for full band performances.

What did you search for? Just DDTW? And I am from Olathe, suburb 20 miles south of KC

eh. there are a lot of different things. might just have to keep searching under videos/dave matthews and digging through the bazillion crash into me videos. hehe. i'm in lawrence...haven't ever been to olathe.

Haven't ever been? Its like 20 mins from Lawrence. Is it labeled Don't Drink The Water? Or does it have that radio show tag with it?
