how many of you add a 7 on the A after playing the 8~~~~ on the low E in the first "half" of the verse progression on tripping billies?
i.e.
--------------------------
--------------------------
-------------4/5---------
--------------------------
--------7----------------
---8~~~~~~~~----- etc. etc.
the tab on this site omits that note, but i think it sounds better (tougher to play though ). what are your thoughts? do you guys play that note or not?

That's been a big discussion on these boards for a while. I choose to omit it from the tab because I had never heard it when I created the tab. As I listened to some more versions, I did realize that it was there sometimes....but I didn't hear it that often. It could go up on the tab in parenthesis I guess....personally I don't really play it

yep, i play that as well, but i play something else that makes it twice as easy. instead of the 4/5 on the g string, i do 9/10 on the fourth string. word!
