Why'd he switch to the Taylors with Tim?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Why'd he switch to the Taylors with Tim?

Did a quick search and couldn't find anything touching on this on the forum. Maybe he got sick of switching back and forth?

i'd be curious to find out as well. i think he got a new taylor custom recently right? could be that he just wanted to see how it played in the d&t setting.

Yeah he did but he isn't using it with Tim, he's using the 914s.
