bass performance- Martin HD-28V vs Taylor 914ce

Do you think the Taylor 914 has alot less bass performance than the Martin HD28V?
And how would you describe the key differences between those guitars?

Oh and another question specificly on the Taylor 914ce. It used to look a little bit different (brown headstock instead of brown and stuff like that). Do you know if they changed anything that would change it's sound or it's just ornament changes?

I think in general Martin's have more presence on the low end and Taylor's have more to the treble. I haven't played either of those models though...

I would assume a Martin (especially this being a dreadnaught) would have more bass than a Taylor (especially this being a grand auditorium) but if you are trying to decide which to buy you just have to go and play them and see which one you prefer.
