semi hollow

I'm thinkin about getting a semi hollow body for around 500 bucks. Any suggestions? I was thinkin gretsch, but that may be a couple more hundred.

i was thinking of gettin a dot? or an esp. i dont want to spend money on an esp tho, because i am unfamiliar w/ the brand. they have some cheap semi-hollows, but im not sure if they are worth it. anyone fiddled w/ or have an esp?

i would look at the prs se semi hollows, i have one with soapbars on it and it plays great. for the money you its a great value.

hope im not too late, but i have a gretsch 5129, and i love it. i think the list is around 900, but i got it for 700 slightly used. it is an amazing guitar. if you already bought a semi hollow, which one?

Most Dots I've played are fantastic. Just make sure you play the one you're buying.
