lol.. I really don't listen to the drummers much... I think carter is an awesome drummer.. and since i'm not one with the drum, i'd have to say whoever he got his drumming background from(not like I remember their names) they are extremely talented drummers as well

I dont know, Keith Carlock isnt all that great to me. I got the new CD(everything must go) and it didnt sound all "hail Steely Dan" to me, but still a OK album I guess

I don't think Neil Peart is good. I mean he's skilled, but there's someething I don't like about him and his style. Carter is awesome. It's now fair he's ambidextrous(however you spell that).

yeah, once I saw him play I just dropped everything and started playin like him. In the process, my right hand got so damn fast (much like him) though my left hand is all fucked up and slow. I can play openhanded like him but I really dont feel comfortable. Usually the left hand is supposed to be stronger with right handed drummers....but not me....nor carter. He never really uses his left hand unless its for keeping time.
